What's new in March 2024

Welcome to the latest update of the Digi Remote Manager®. This release provides features and general fixes. There were no security related changes.

Software Enhancements

• Speedtest by Ookla. Analyze the internet access performance of your DAL OS devices using the speedtest.net functionality within DRM. Speedtest by Ookla is easy to run, view, and track.

• Handlebars expression language in automations. Set and change variables using Handlebars expression language. A variety of handlebars helpers are added and data can be extracted from built-in variables in automations. User variables can be used in if-conditions in other steps.

• Certificate indicator. Devices now display whether they have been authenticated with a certificate.

• Removed the auto-collapse of the sidebar when editing in the Automations, Configurations, and other pages where the right-hand aside opens an editor. Also removed the lock left sidebar preference as it is no longer relevant.

• Simplified the wording for the Mac address/Device ID field on the add device tab.

• Data stream history chart now displays the most recent time history first.

• Added the new Create a Configuration from Device Settings function to the Actions menu. Launches the Configurations template wizard, with pre-populated fields so you can copy that device's files and settings into a new template.

• Use special characters to filter search results.

• The reports table now shows more rows for improved visibility of data.

• Fix errors and resubmit when adding a device instead starting the operation again.

• You are now notified when your account is over its license limit before attempting to add additional devices.

• When adding a device, the Scan QR code function is now more visible in the UI.
